Severe THUNDERSTORM WATCH
A severe thunderstorm watch means that the upcoming weather conditions are expected to produce potentially dangerous weather, such as heavy rain, hail, or strong gusts of wind.
Severe THUNDERSTORM WARNING
A severe thunderstorm warning means that a storm that produces one inch hail or larger in diameter and/or winds equal or exceed 58 miles an hour is imminent to the area.

Tornado WATCH
A tornado watch is a severe weather watch product issued by the national weather forecasting agencies when meteorological conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes.
Tornado WARNING
A tornado warning is a severe weather warning product issued by regional offices of weather forecasting agencies throughout the world to alert the public when a tornado has been sighted or indicated by weather radar within the parent severe thunderstorm.
